Kyle Mewburn has had over 30 children’s books published in nine countries. His work has won numerous awards, including the NZ Post Picture Book and Children’s Choice awards for Kiss! Kiss! Yuck! Yuck! and the Book of the Year award for the picture book Old Hu–Hu. Originally from Brisbane, Kyle lives with his wife in Central Otago.

 Mathew Russell hails from Bradford in the UK but now lives in Auckland. Mat has always enjoyed painting and drawing — ever since the age of 2 when he used to scribble artistically on the walls around the house! Mat enjoys the challenge of painting something engaging and fun that kids will enjoy looking at again and again.

Mat has illustrated other picture books for Usborne but Tumble Ted is his first book with Scholastic NZ.
