Author description

Valerie Wilding writes fiction and non-fiction and especially enjoys narrative non-fiction, where lots of information is wrapped up in an exciting story. She has written over a hundred books, on all sorts of subjects, and she likes to bring a touch of humour to everything she does. Asa Gilland is a Swedish illustrator who loves all things retro, quirky imagery, and folk art themes. She studied interior design at Accademia Italiana Moda and has 20 years of experience in illustration. She illustrated Kingfisher's This is Our World, This is Our World: Celebrate With Us and We Are All Different.
