Jem's Review:

While practising his landings, Flit the Fantail stumbles upon a collection of mysterious eggs. They’re white and rubbery! Thinking they’ve fallen from a nest, Flit asks all his native bird friends who the eggs belong to but their eggs are all quite different. From kaka to black robins and even a giant Kiwi egg (that could fit all of the smaller eggs inside!), Flit and his friends keep searching high and low to find the parents - and then the eggs hatch!

Kat Quin has written another lovely addition to the Flit series. The descriptions of the different types of eggs and details about the different nesting habits of our native wildlife make this a great book for discussion. With bright illustrations filled with adorable characters, Flit the Fantail and the Mystery Eggs is must have.
