I Just Ate My Friend
Author(s): Heidi McKinnon
Now in board book format, this beautiful, innovative picture book from an enormously talented creator will make you laugh out loud. The search for a true friend is something everyone can relate to - from the very young to the very old.
The hapless monster in this picture book has got a serious (and hilarious) problem. We follow the monster as they try to find a companion to replace the one they've eaten, but it proves a difficult search. Finally they find someone who is willing to be their friend, and the two have a LOT in common - perhaps a little more than is ideal for our monster.
This delightfully simple, bold book made me lose the plot laughing. Ideal for monsters of all shapes and sizes.
